What should I do when I find a stray animal?
Residents are cautioned against ever approaching an animal they do not know. If you are familiar with the owner of a domesticated dog or cat you may contact them for recovery. The Lodi Police have partnered with the Lodi Vet Clinic to temporarily care for a stray animals when the owner in not known. Residents must get authorization from the Lodi Police to submit a dog or cat to the Lodi Vet.
