What prompted your interest to serve as Mayor?:
My family has lived in the Lodi valley since the 1860s, and the calling to public service has always been strong for me. Having served for five years as an Alder, I felt prepared to run for Mayor in 2020, and I knew it was a good fit for my skills and interests. Serving as Mayor has been a tremendous honor, and the best thing about local government is that you can see how your making a difference in your community every day. Finally, leading a complex organization like the city of Lodi was something I felt I could be effective at and have an impact on our community.

Civic Involvement:
I have served on many Boards of Directors and in leadership positions with many non-profits such as: the UW-Madison Student Personnel Association, the Wisconsin College Personnel Association, the American College Personnel Association, the Wisconsin Ag & Life Sciences Alumni Association, the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras, the Lodi Library Board, the EMS Commission, and the Lodi Optimist Club.
