The Committee provides oversight and makes recommendations on policies and programs for the economic development of the City. This encompass but is not limited to revolving loan funds, Community Development Block Grant program compliance, grant programs within and outside of the City, within the County, and other programs that assist in the development of the local economy. The Economic Development Committee will also review and make recommendations relating to Tax Incremental Financing (TIF/TID) projects for the City.
The Mayor shall appoint three members of the Common Council subject to confirmation by the Common Council.
