Gay Street Project Reconstruction Notice

Road Improvement Project

The city, in conjunction with a Wisconsin Department of Transportation LRIP grant program, is reconstructing Gay Street with the inclusion of a walking path.

The project will consist of removing and installing new asphalt pavement, curb & gutter, water main, and sanitary sewer. It is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2021.

Due to COVID-19, an in-person public involvement meeting to discuss the project will not be held. In lieu of an in-person meeting, information on the reconstruction of Gay street can be found in the project documents. Residents are encouraged to review the information and contact staff directly with any questions or concerns about the project. Project comments should be returned no later than January 7, 2021.

Questions or concerns can be directed to City Engineer Andy Zimmer from MSA Professional Services, Inc. at 608-355-8968 or azimmer@msa-ps.com.
