Board Service

The Board or Review is a quasi-judicial body that hears and decides appeals by property owners dissatisfied with the value placed upon their property by the City Assessor for property tax purposes.  The Board consists of five persons: the Mayor, the Clerk, the Treasurer, and two members of the Common Council.  The Mayor appoints two alternate members who are City residents.
