GeoComm Emergency Notifications
The Lodi Police are dispatched by the Columbia County Communications Center. Sheriff Dennis Richards has announced the implementation of the GeoComm GeoLynx Emergency Notification System Outbound notification System program for all residents of Columbia County. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with GeoComm to provide the network for the Outbound Notification system.

The GeoComm GeoLynx® Emergency Notification System is an extremely fast communication service available for mass Emergency Notifications. GeoComm employs Internet mapping capability for geographic targeting of calls, coupled with a high-speed telephone calling system capable of delivering customized pre-recorded emergency messages directly to homes and businesses, live individuals, answering machines, emails and text messages.
